Apply for the Notification Letter of Work Permit first

Upload: passport, authenticated degree, labour contract, non-criminal record (legalised abroad + authenticated by the Chinese embassy/consulate).

Reminder: the degree must carry the Chinese-embassy/consulate authentication stamp; an Apostille alone is not accepted at Shanghai counters.

Convert the notification into a Work-type Residence Permit

Bring the e-notification, passport and medical-exam form to either:
– 1500 Minsheng Rd (Pudong Exit-Entry Hall), or
– 1330 Hami Rd (Hongqiao One-Stop Centre for Foreigners). -
