From this December, the dishonest person who was put on the dishonest person list by the national or local court due to fail to pay back the debts cannot take the positions as the legal representative, directors, supervisors or other senior management in the companies.

The Administrative Bureau of Industry and Commerce has successful linked with the Supreme Court for collection around 1.7 millions about the dishonest personal information and such database will be updated every day. From now on, when AIC registration, if the person is found as the dishonest person, a notice will be issued to the company and remind the person to contact with the relevant court. Only after such dishonest person clear the debt and is deleted from the list, such restriction will be cancelled.
